I have 1 stick of ddr3 1600 8gb atm however I need to choose between either 1x8gb 1600mhz or 2x8gb 1333mhz. I would say go for the 12 Gb the difference betwwen 1333 and 1600 is a very minor one and who knows you might just be able to oc your 1333 ram to 1600. For DDR3-1333 CL9 the latency is 135 nanoseconds. Ignore the 1333MHz - it will just slow you down and bottleneck the memory more.
